Pros: easy to use, durable, good battery life
Cons: battery cover, crappy case, USB 1.1
Summary: I've had this player for 5 months, and have had few problems with it. nothing serious enough to warrant RMA. The biggest problem is the fact that the battery compartment door slides off easily, but this is fixed by using the case. which is ugly, and has a crappy clip on it. the clip is removable by pushing out the little plastic rivet holding it in place. So far, all minor annoyances. Another thing, the time and date don't work. It remembers my settings, it just doesn't keep track of the time and date. right now it think it is new years day, 1970! but these are all minor annoyances. The player has worked fine, and is durable. i throw it in the bottom of my front backpack compartment which is notorious for eating up and spitting out everything, so far it has survived just fine. overall, yes, it's a good deal if you can get it for less than, oh , say $90. if you want something bigger w/ more features, spring for Iriver or Iaudio.
