"Camera is OK but there are better ones"
Pros: Picture quality, easy to use
Cons: battery life, battery life, build quality, did i mention battery life?
Summary: I got this camera when it was first out (July 2004) and it was already discounted to $174 from its $399 list price. I thought it was a steal but I was wrong. Lot of different picture types so it can be a "point and shoot" camera without too much guesswork. Pictures come out great for this number of megapixels. However, battery life sucks even with lithiums (30 pics @ 5MP). You can turn off the LCD but you only get about 10-20 more pics. Build quality is not too good, the lens motor came "loose" in about 2 months. Sometimes it's fuzzy when I turn on the camera and can't be corrected by simply turning up the zoom and back. Overall, stay away from the camera there are a lot more better ones on the market today.
