"Worst DVD recorder Ever!!"
Pros: The price was good.
Cons: 80% of the discs I tried to burn failed (Disc error)
Summary: I chose this recorder based on pure economics. I regreted this 2 hours later after I realized that the recorder was failing to perform the way it was advertised. I would start getting disc errors %50 of the time after recording and in most cases when it did record it didn't even recognize it's own discs. I tried finding a resolution on the manual, but was fruitless. The manual contains zero information, I couldn't even find a wiring diagram for instances where one has a DVR/DirecTV system. Needless to say, I returned it a few days later and purchased a Sony. Pay the extra buck... it's worth it. Lost more money than I would've saved judging by the price.
