Samsung's supersized Galaxy Mega smartphone will finally roll out to U.S. consumers starting this month.
The 6.3-inch phone will be offered in the U.S. by AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular, Samsung revealed Monday. The actual launch dates will vary among the three.
AT&T will get started with the Mega on Friday, August 23. The phone will sell for $149.99 under the standard two-year agreement or $24 a month under the AT&T Next installment plan.

The new Galaxy Mega smartphone will soon make its debut in Samsung's home base of South Korea.
Offering a 6.3-inch display, the new Mega will roll out this week, according to The Wall Street Journal. The phone is expected to cost almost 1,000,000 won ($895) without a contract and will be available across three Korean carriers -- SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus.

Dubbed Mega, the two devices Samsung showed off today come with the customer's choice of a 5.8-inch screen or a 6.3-inch option. Both devices come with Android 4.2 (Jelly Ben) and a dual-core processor. The higher-end 6.3-inch option comes with a 1.7GHz processor, while the 5.8-inch version has a 1.4GHz chip.
