Report: Google TV struggling to find partners

With the Google TV service set to make a fall debut, the race is on for Google to find content partners. But the company is having a tough time achieving that goal, The Wall Street Journal is reporting.

The new service, which the Web giant announced in May, will let consumers watch and search cable programming, search the Web, and view online content on a third-party device.

Logitech tips new G-Series PC gaming peripherals

Logitech's G-Series gets three new members this month, by way of a new mouse, a new keyboard, and a new gaming headset. None of them is cheap. The most affordable product, the Gaming Mouse G700, coming in lowest at $99. On the other side of the price bracket, the Wireless Gaming Headset G930 will set you back $159. Several companies have tried to launch DIY video security systems that promise no-hassle setup for average consumers. But most have failed.

Now Logitech is giving it a shot with its new Alert digital video security system, which it says, "Takes just a few minutes to set-up through a three-step process." Logitech wants to pay you to promote Google TV

The first wave of Google TV devices is right around the corner. To kick it off, Logitech is running a contest called the "Host with the Most" that will put its Google TV-stuffed Revue set-top box in the hands of users ahead of its official launch so that they can show it off to people they know. For the three winners there are some pretty serious strings attached though, including dedicating 20 hours a week for 10 weeks to host 50 to 70 marketing parties for the device.
