Messaging and social networking are the focus of Nokia's latest smartphones, and the company's hoping the affordable price tag attached to them will draw in the masses. Ranging from $120 to $300 unlocked, the Nokia C3, C6, and E5 are certainly some of the cheaper devices we've seen from the company, and they don't skimp too much on the features. Apple has posted a revised updater for the OS X 10.6.3 update, which should appear in Software Update on systems for which it applies. Though we'd qualify this as unconfirmed news, it's an intriguing thought in the wake of the launch of the iPad.
We've known for years that most computer manufacturers are less than pleased with being in the Netbook space. Margins are small, pricing is brutal (for the manufacturer, that is), and the standardized specs of most Netbooks can be numbing. We've seen some … Read more
Placing watermarks on your images adds a professional touch as well as copyright protection. DropWaterMark aims to make it easy to add text or image watermarks to your pictures one at a time or in batches. It's not the most attractive program we've tested, but it performed its job well.
The program's main interface could use some work. Not only is it unattractive, but it also lacks any kind of intuitive flow. After a few minutes, we were able to find our way around the program's features well enough, though a Help feature is available. Menu … Read more
