A report had BBM coming to Android on Friday and iOS on Saturday. It turns out, it was a day off. The Android version will come on Saturday, while the iOS version hits the App Store on Sunday.

BlackBerry Messenger is reportedly set to make its debut on Android this Friday, and become available on Apple's App Store as soon as Saturday, according to BlackBerry news site CrackBerry.

Samsung is planning to launch its Android-based BlackBerry Messenger app in Africa later this week.
The company reportedly confirmed the news on Monday, saying that its customers in Africa will have access to BBM via the Samsung Messaging Hub on Friday. According to CNET sister site ZDNet, which earlier reported on the news, it's possible that Samsung will have exclusive access to BBM in Africa for a period of three months.
