Roundup: Three Blu-ray players for less than $300

During the 2008 holiday season, we found plenty of affordable Blu-ray players to recommend under $300. Fast-forward a couple months, and we're surprised to find that many of those players are either discontinued (Panasonic DMP-BD35) or are no longer discounted.

Insignia Sport MP3 Player with Bluetooth is loaded with features and fading away

If you want the Insignia Sport MP3 Player with Bluetooth, now is the time--the player has limited availability and BestBuy does not appear to be scheduling production for more. You may be rightfully asking yourself why you would want a generic brand MP3 player with one foot out the door. (Or how this outdated player has stealthily edged onto Crave.) Best Buy appears intent on expanding its line of MP3 players. The latest addition, dubbed the Insignia Kix (1GB), screams budget: It has a small screen, a plastic body, and a price tag of just $50. No doubt, the Kix is cheap (and feels it), but it's not without its merits. Best Buy issues security warning on Insignia digital picture frames

Best Buy is warning customers who purchased its Insignia 10.4-inch Digital Picture Frames that their device may be harboring a virus, according an advisory posted on its Web site over the weekend.

Insignia digital frames, with model number NS-DPF10A, may be infected with the virus, Best Buy states in its posting. The company is asking users to contact its Insignia customer care number, 877-467-4289, to determine whether their digital picture frame is infected and how to troubleshoot the virus that can travel through the USB cord and infect a user's PC.
