eBay is aiming to unite the worlds of online and offline shopping through a new experiment in New York City.

Starting this Saturday, shoppers in Manhattan will be able to select and buy products from fashion retailer Kate Spade via interactive storefront windows. Using any one of four 24-hour Windows Shops, people can pick the items they want through a touch screen, schedule a one-hour delivery to any location in the city, and then pay for the products through PayPal Here on delivery.

Jeffrey Feldman has won a reprieve from a federal court order that had given him until Tuesday to decrypt his hard drives for the FBI -- or face contempt of court.

A federal judge in Wisconsin today granted an emergency motion filed by Feldman's attorney for additional time to establish that her client's Fifth Amendment right to self-incrimination would be violated.

Total first-quarter sales hit $9.6 billion, up 15.6 percent from the $8.3 billion seen in the first quarter of 2012, according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers. The latest numbers reflect an ongoing shift to Internet advertising on the part of marketers as revenue continues to grow by double digits.
