Mac OS 9 not being recalled! A MacFixIt Forums thread discusses rumors that Mac OS 9 is being recalled because of a legal issue over the OS 9 name. A posting by John Rizzo points to a MacWEEK article that quotes Apple as denying this rumor. "The real culprit was nothing more than an 'internal error' in shipping orders," leading to too many copies shipped in some cases.
