Quark, Netscape and corrupted fonts A reader could not launch Quark Xpress due to an "out of memory" error (even though enough memory was available). A tip on Quark's web site suggested this might be due to a corrupted font. Reinstalling clean copies of all his fonts fixed the problem. … Read more
#22158: A copy error bug: "Apple is aware of a potential issue with PCI equipped Mac OS-based computers running Mac OS 8.1 and sharing a CD-ROM disc. When a CD-ROM disc is shared, files copied from the CD to another Mac OS-based computer may not copy correctly which could result in the copied files being incomplete and having data corruption."
