Miss any of this week's big E3 news? CNET TV's got you covered. Veronica Belmont wraps up all the announcements from Santa Monica, including the highlights from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.

Earlier CNET TV coverage:

The 'Wii Party Station' is our kind of gaming

We've never been into games all that much, so we've felt a bit left out with all that's going on at E3 this week. Then we saw it--the Nyko "Wii Party Station" (cue the angels' choir).

This heavenly contraption may not save you from the killer zombies of Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, but it may well help dull the pain from their undead doings. The reason: It has four cupholders that will keep your beers cool, as well as a fan to do the same with your hands, according to Technabob. It's kind of … Read more

E3: Commodore unveils its U.S. desktop lineup

We found out back in March that the Commodore name had been scooped up by a Netherlands-based company looking to reinvent the brand as a modern gaming PC. Now we get wind of the new lineup of PCs coming soon (this quarter) to the States, first via online sales, with an unnamed big-box retail presence following afterward.… Read more

E3: 'Unreal Tournament III' trailer

Die-hard deathmatch fans have been waiting for a true Unreal Tournament sequel since UT2004 hit PCs more than three years ago. The lastest iteration will be exclusive to the PC and PS3 "in 2007" when it hits in November--wording that makes us think it's highly likely we'll see the game (or a reasonable facsimile) appearing on the 360 at some point next year. But no matter--PS3 owners will still relish the chance to get first dibs on the game, which is powered by the same Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine that made Gears of War such … Read more

E3: 'World in Conflict' trailer

Add Sierra's World in Conflict to the list of enticing real-time strategy games for 2007. The game envisions a Cold-War-turned-hot conflict between the U.S. and Soviet Union, with an emphasis on pick-up-and-play action over resource management. Look for it on the PC and Xbox 360 in the fall of 2007.

E3: 'Call of Duty 4' trailer

To date, the Call of Duty franchise has been strictly a World War II affair. But with Call of Duty 4, Activision and developer Infinity Ward move the action to a 21st century setting. The military shooter brings an all-new graphics engine to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC when it hits stores this fall. Can you say, "Halo who?"

E3 2007: If Microsoft told you to 'jump in,' would you?

Microsoft's media event on Tuesday evening--the first slot on our E3 2007 agendas (aside from picking up our press badges)--came with the company slogan: "Jump In." It was displayed on signs outside Santa Monica High School's outdoor amphitheater, where the event took place, and on the giant projection screen behind the stage (when the screen wasn't displaying a tag cloud of the Xbox Live usernames of those present). The slogan was even on the access badges that were mailed to us a week in advance, with the admonition that if we didn't have … Read more

E3 2007: Gears of War coming for Vista and XP

Dan Ackerman will have the update on all the Xbox 360 stuff from this evening's Microsoft press conference (to be fair, there's more of that than there is PC news). But it looks like I beat him back from Santa Monica High School, where Microsoft hosted the event. In the meantime, I have the dirt on Microsoft's PC-related announcements.

The two biggest items PC-wise are that Viva Pinata and Gears of War, both formerly 360-only titles, will be out for Windows by the end of the year. Interestingly, when Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinsky (aka Cliffy … Read more

This is the new E3? Sure, I'll take it...with a side of Pinkberry

I rolled into the seaside city of Santa Monica, Calif., home of the E3 Media and Business Summit, this morning after a flight out of New York City that wasn't technically a red-eye, but might as well have been because it was pretty darn early (would you call that a pink-eye?). Let's just say it's a far cry from the conference's former home at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The above photograph shows something that I snapped with my camera while--no kidding--on the way to pick up my press wristband for Sony Computer Entertainment America's … Read more
