Optimus G2 may arrive this fall

LG will introduce the Optimus G2 in the fall of 2013, according to the latest round of chatter. Reportedly, the flagship device will debut right around the time the current model hits the one-year mark.

Previously rumored to arrive as early as last week's annual CES, the Optimus G2 is expected to feature a full 1080p HD display measuring no less than 5 inches. Seeing as how LG did not announce the new device in Las Vegas last week, the next logical venue would be Mobile World Congress scheduled for February.

LG's LA6900 TVs to feature voice control, Magic Motion remote

Half of LG's range now includes the "Cinema Screen" design the company debuted last year with its impossibly thin bezels and the LA6900 is also one of these.

The LA6900 boasts "natural language" voice control via the new Magic Motion remote, which means you don't have to utter some robotic command before looking for what you want. Good if it works, … Read more

Print smartphone pics in a snap (and NFC) with LG Pocket Photo (hands-on)

LAS VEGAS--Is that a printer in your pants or are you just happy to remember this moment? With the Pocket Photo, which LG featured in its massive CES 2013 booth, you'll be relieved to know that it really is just a printer.

And a pretty cute printer at that -- coming in three different colors (pink, silver, and orange) with a metallic finish on its edges, the compact Pocket Photo launched last September in South Korea.

Unfortunately, an LG rep told me that there hasn't been any official plans for it to come to the U.S. yet.… Read more

No signal of any LG mobile announcements at CES 2013

LAS VEGAS--Despite LG launching a number of top-tier smartphones in the past few months (the Nexus 4 and the Optimus G were released in November, and the Intuition was available in September), the Korean phone company has remained pretty quiet about launching new handsets during CES this week.

We were told by LG representatives numerous times before CES that there would be no mobile devices unveiling anyway, but that didn't stop us from holding out for any surprises. Especially since rumors about an Optimus G successor, the Optimus G2, have been circulating.

But after LG's press conference today, … Read more
