Tweetbot 3 for iOS adds new improvements to the popular Twitter client along with a cool way to handle images posted to in your Timeline. Unfortunately, Tweetbot 3 doesn't tell you how many people have followed you, and it still doesn't have a way to schedule tweets.
Like every alternative Twitter client, Tweetbot's challenge is not only to match up with the official Twitter app on iOS, but a strong set of twitter alternatives that continue to fill up the App Store. But Tweetbot 3, even with the minor issues it has, is a solid standout among … Read more
When shared iCloud Photo Stream albums first launched on iOS, they were a one-way street. Only the person who created the album and invited others to view it could add photos to the stream.
During the iOS 7 announcement last June, it was briefly mentioned that shared iCloud Photo Streams would soon have the ability for both the creator and the subscribers to contribute to the same album.
Fast forward to the release of iOS 7 and the revamped iCloud Photo Stream service, which now also allows for video uploads, and it's not far-fetched to assume subscribers are automatically … Read more

Looks like Post-It notes are still a sticky idea, even in the digital age.
The note-taking software service Evernote, and 3M, the company behind the venerable paper stickies, are joining forces to introduce software that will easily recognize pictures of Post-Its, so users can organize and store them digitally.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the software will be able to pick up on the signature bright colors of Post-Its and be able to categorize them in different ways. For example, the Journal notes, pink ones can be designated for shopping lists. "Paperless as a concept is stupid," … Read more

Photo framing apps are nothing new and there are a slew of them in the App Store. Each one allows you to place photos in combinations of frames, aspect ratios, frame colors, and sizes to make a kind of collage. But what's interesting about an app like PicPlayPost is that it goes beyond the standard frames and filters, and lets you incorporate videos into your creations. … Read more
