Apple published an updated chart on its developer Web site for the iOS App Store, which shows that iOS 7 is now on 74 percent of all iOS devices. This means adoption of the operating system has grown 10 percent since numbers last reported in October.

The CyanogenMod app to more easily install the open-source Android variant only lasted two weeks on Google Play.
CyanogenMod developers removed the installer because Google said it violates Google Play developer terms, but the startup has hopes it'll be restored. Cyanogen explained the installer removal in a blog post Wednesday:

T-Mobile customers in the US were affected by a "minor software issue" that caused slow network speeds, the company's CEO confirmed.

Internet Explorer has a new leader.
Joe Belfiore, who runs Microsoft's Windows Phone design team, is taking over the Internet Explorer group. Belfiore confirmed the news on his Twitter account, saying that while he's "adding Internet Explorer and Windows [user experience]" to his list of duties, he'll still be working on the company's phone and tablet business.
