There is one nook (cranny?) in my kitchen that I've always thought about putting a small kitchen island. The additional work space would surely be welcomed. A Japanese company called Chuo Sangyo is claiming that with its funky kitchen gadget, 10 minutes, and a single power outlet, you'll be able to make coffee, toast, and eggs simultaneously. I'm a little skeptical of the appliance's capability to make food that actually tastes good (Doesn't it kind of look like a kid's toy? That could be a bad sign.) But if you have a cramped kitchen, it could be a potential space-saving solution.
