Intel boss disses $100 laptop aimed at the poor
Intel CEO Craig Barrett says Nicholas Negroponte's hand-cranked $100 laptop, created for users in the developing world, is simply a weak-sauce "gadget" that's doomed to failure. So, I guess the developing world should just sit around saving their pennies until they can afford a new Intel-inside PowerBook.
