Yahoo pushes music industry toward sense
Yahoo music announced on its blog that you can get a personalized MP3 of a Jessica Simpson song without DRM. That's right, no DRM. You pay for the song and you don't get penalized for doing so. Granted, it's one MP3. It's from Jessica Simpson, and it's a steep $1.99, but it's a huge step in the right direction. Yahoo is asking if folks would be willing to pay $1.09 for restriction-free MP3s. Go tell them.
