CorelDRAW 11 ships The CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 11 is now available on store shelves across North America. Priced at US $250 for an upgrade and $530 for a full version, the new product compilation consists of CorelDRAW 11, Corel PHOTO-PAINT 11 and Corel R.A.V.E. 2. Meanwhile, a ZDNN article notes that Corel is attempting to target Microsoft customers alienated by the company's new subscription licensing plan. More.
Notebook shipments up CNET reports that worldwide notebook shipments grew 6.1 percent in the quarter, compared with the same period last year. Overall PC shipments worldwide declined by nearly 1 percent in the same period, according to a new report by market researcher Gartner. Dell Computer and Hewlett-Packard, which completed its merger with Compaq Computer in May, essentially tied for the No. 1 spot. More.
