Some users have reported problems accessing the iTunes media store when using iTunes version 4.9 -- currently the oldest version of iTunes still able to access the store.

MacFixit reader Dave Kupiec writes:

"I am no longer able to access the iTunes Music Store with iTunes 4.9.  I get a message that 'Could not complete your request.  The store may be busy.'  My other Macs on the same network with iTunes 6.x and 7.x have no problem."
