TurboTax (#2): Printer output distorted, potential fix

Problem: Documents printed from TurboTax under Mac OS X print in a distorted fashion; either at a reduced size, off-center or with other issues.

Potential fix: You may want to exporting the document as  PDF using the "Save as PDF" command in the print dialog box, then opening that document with the Apple Preview application, or another PDF reader and re-printing. This may side-step the distortion problems generated by printing directly from TurboTax.

Reader report(s): MacFixIt reader Wright Harris writes:

"I have PrintFab and CUPS drivers for my Epson printers-color photo 1270 and 875dcs and color 900g. I have no problem printing in any program except TurboTax and did not have any problems last year with the same setup. When i set up the printer I set it up in page setup first to print letter size, then i go to the driver and set it to print odd page first 360 dpi. The result is the forms print half-size and off center or partially off the paper to the left with tiny print size. Consequently i have not been able to hard-copy my return."
