Our sister site VersionTracker has released VersionTracker Pro 4.5 -- Software Update for all your 3rd party applications. The tool automatically monitors the software inventory and version status for your Macs and tells you when updates are available/necessary. The tool is great for ferreting out and installing Leopard-compatible updates for all installed applications.

The new release features these enhancements:

  • Leopard Ready - Use the OS filtering feature to tell you when your favorite applications have been updated to work with Leopard so you can make informed decisions about when to upgrade.
  • Automatic Installation - VersionTracker Pro can automatically install any application with an installer OR any application that is installed via drag and drop.
