SuperDuper goes Leopard

One of the most useful Mac OS X utilities -- one that we recommend as part of any major OS upgrade procedure -- is finally Leopard compatible. SuperDuper, which allows you to create a bootable, full backup of your current Mac OS X installation, has been updated to version 2.5, receiving Leopard compatibility and some special functionality that integrates with Time Machine. Among the enhancements:
- Can store a bootable backup side-by-side with a Time Machine backup on a single volume
- Can copy Time Machine backup volumes to other drive when you need more space (or want to back up your archived data)
- "Run Now" button for scheduled copies
- Automatic preservation of any custom icon on the destination volume
- Improved Spotlight handling
SuperDuper is priced at $28, and is well worth it.
