  • Canon EOS 50D
  • Nikon D90

Apple says the update also addresses issues related to specific cameras and overall stability.

I can confirm that this release fix the problem with Sony Alpha-700 raw images.

Speaking for the 50D RAW files, the update is incomplete.

The 50D Camera has 3 RAW formats: full RAW, sRAW1 and sRAW2

IPhoto only imports the RAW file and displays it. sRAW1 is imported but coloured black. It refuses to import the sRAW2 file

Preview shows the RAW file, but the sRAW1 and sRAW2 files resize the Preview window but fill them with black

The Finder in Icon mode shows miniature pictures of RAW and sRAW1 but the sRAW2 file is grey with the EXEC word on it

The Finder in Column mode with Preview enabled shows only RAW files, the other 2 formats are displayed as black.

The Finder in Cover Flow mode shows The first two formats but the sRAW2 file displays as a Grey EXEC icon
