Quartz compositions not working in Keynote Several users have reported an issue in which Quartz compositions (.qtz files) cannot be properly inserted into Keynote presentations. Users experiencing the issue receive a solid white rectangle instead of the expected media.

This problem may only occur on MacBook Pros, and can be solved (in some cases) by setting the MacBook Pro's graphics performance to "slower but more power efficient."

Numbers crashing Some users have reported repeated Numbers '09 crashes under various circumstance. In some cases, this issue can be resolved by deleting the file

  • ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iwork.Numbers.plist

then restarting Numbers.
