Apple Releases MacBook SMC Update 1.3 update

Apple has released a 13" (white) MacBook update that addresses slow boot times, which some systems exhibit when running on battery power. Affected users find that the systems show generally degraded performance that does not dissipate even after subsequent restarts. The list of computers eligible for this update (as well as other EFI and SMC updates) is available at in this Apple support document.
