by CNET staff

In the past couple of weeks, Apple has released a slew of updates. Today the company continues this trend by releasing updates to iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, as well as for support tools for the iLife suite.

In addition to addressing general stability and compatibility issues, the updates today provide the following fixes:

iPhoto 8.0.3 - publishing issues with MobileMe, Facebook, and Flickr; slideshow playback; and GPS-embedding features.
iMovie 8.0.3 - This update adds support for some Hi-Def camcorders, problems with persistent beat markers, and problems with thumbnails with the video effect previews.
iDVD 7.0.4 - Fixes an issue where the program is unable to add comments to an image in the image's "details" list.
iLife Support 9.0.3 - Addresses memory leaks and performance of the media browser, corrects problems with custom folders being added to the browser, and problems with image dates changing when imported to iPhoto and Aperture.
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility 2.6 - Extends RAW image support to various Canon, Nikon, and Olympus cameras for Aperture 2, iPhoto '08, and iPhoto '09.

The updates should be available through Software Update, or can be individually downloaded at the respective links above.

I also did the quicktime and itunes updates at the same time, so that is most likely the culprit...
