Apple has released Cinema Tools 3.1.1, a maintenance update for the application that enhances Final Cut Pro 3's 24fps editing capabilities with support for film cut lists and 24-frame edit decision lists (EDLs) for high-definition (HD) video.

The new release fixes a potential issue with reverse telecine when using some DVCPro formats.

The new release is available through Software Update or as a standalone download.
