I had the following problem : Mouse wouldn't scroll down correctly anymore. It
felt as if the scroll ball was hardly engaging the scroll down mechanism.

My solution : I disconnected the mouse from the mac. Pressed the mouse down
beyond 'clic' pressure, and scrolled down for 30-40 seconds with considerable
pressure but without harming the mechanism. My Mightymouse now scrolls
normally again.
