Intuit introduces QuickBooks: Pro 2006 Intuit has announced QuickBooks: Pro 2006 for Mac OS X. A press release says the new version "enables Mac small business customers to import downloaded bank and credit card transactions into QuickBooks without typing, to automatically synchronize business contact information and to manage payroll from QuickBooks or any Web browser at anytime, from anywhere." QuickBooks: Pro 2006 for Mac is available for a suggested retail price of US$200. More.

What do Steve Jobs and Jay Leno have in common? According to the Gulf Breeze News, both Steve Jobs and Jay Leno have 'iMacQuariums' ? an old iMac computer with the electronics taken out and replaced with a fish tank. "The idea seemed to have started in 1992 by Andy Inhatko, a Macworld columnist who answered a reader?s query on the best way to upgrade a Mac Classic. Inhatko received so many requests on how to go about doing it, he wrote up some plans and posted it on the Web site. In 2001, Inhatko updated the information for the colorful iMac series." More.

Second Motorola iTunes phone introduced NME reports on new Motorola mobile phone due out before the end of the year will be able to play iTunes tracks. "The Razr V3i is only the second handset to play iTunes following the unveiling of the Rokr iTunes mobile by Apple and Motorola in San Francisco back in September. [...] Apple and Motorola are not the first companies to unveil handsets that can play music. Many handsets already have basic media players on board and store many tracks on high-capacity memory cards." More.
