Problems with Palm synchronization: Try re-applying Mac OS X combo updater

Several users have reported problems synchronizing various Palm devices under Mac OS X 10.4.3. In many cases, the same devices had no problems synchronizing under Mac OS X 10.4.2.

For some, the problem can be resolved by simply applying the Mac OS X 10.4.3 combo updater.

MacFixIt reader Gabriel Dorado writes:

"Some Palm PDA models may fail to sync with Mac OS X, even though they might have synced before, and even using the latest Palm Desktop software from Palm and the latest driver from Keyspan like the USB PDA Adapter."

"I fixed this by using the Mac OS X 10.4.3 using the combo updater. Make sure that it is the combo (109 MB) and not the Delta one (97 MB)."
