QuarkXPress and ATR 2.5 ; MicroTek Scan Preview; SoundJam and MacAMP Recent noteworthy postings from the MacFixIt Forums:
QuarkXPress and ATR 2.5 We have previously identified a conflict between Adobe Type Reunion 2.5 and QuarkXPress - including noting an Adobe Support Document on this matter. A recent posting (by jefflush) in the MacFixIt Forums notes that Quark has now similarly confirmed this conflict. The posting provides some more background on the cause of the problem and claims that both Quark and Adobe are working on fixes.

MicroTek Scan Preview not working According to a posting by lilswami, if the Scan Preview feature of the ScanWizard software for your MicroTek ScanMaker E6 suddenly stops working, it likely means a hardware problem with the scanner - with a repair cost of as much as $175.

SoundJam and MacAMP files glitch A thread in the Casady & Greene Forum cites problems with SoundJam reading MacAMP files. A posting claims that C&G have confirmed this: "They mentioned that there is a problem reading file type "Mp3" Supposedly a fix is coming soon." You apparently can get the files to play by using the Open command from the File menu; dragging the files into the master playlist will not work."

Forums news: search engine glitch It appears that, due to a bug in the software, the Forums Search feature intermittently returns a "Internal Server Error" message - especially when searching on multiple terms. Usually, if you try again one or two more times, it will work. The next update to the software, due in a few weeks, should fix this.
