SyQuest closes SyQuest has closed its doors and has apparently filed for bankruptcy (see MacWEEK article). Other reports from readers suggest that this will mean not only the end of sales of new drives but may mean the end of SyQuest's technical support for and repairs of existing drives.

TalkBack not working: Netscape replies Last time, we reported problems using Netscape's TalkBack feature. Steve Dagley (of Netscape) replied: "It looks like we are experiencing problems with the server for TalkBack error reports. Exactly what kind of problem I do not know but I was told it should be fixed within the next day or so." Perhaps it is fixed already?

iPoker A poker simulation game, called iPoker 1.0, has shipped. Despite its name, it works on Macs beyond the iMac.

Color It! 4.0 adds animated GIF and image map capability, clipping paths, new filters, file formats and much more.
