Global Village issues

Paolo DeLeon writes that "there is a bug in the Global Fax software. In creating custom cover sheets it distorts the pict file I export into the software, elongating the art and changing the size. I've called Global Village and their tech support informs me that they will be issuing a patch to fix this problem in a couple of weeks."

Paolo and several other readers have also commented on problems with the Global Village Speakerphone edition modem - particularly as regards the speaker and voice mail capabilities. For one thing, sound over the speaker appears to have an excessive amount of feedback noise.
