Epson Stylus Color 800 printer: a follow-up

Following up on our report from last time: While we continue to get reports from users having trouble getting the Chooser to recognize this new printer, we are also getting some very glowing reports, such as this one that a reader forwarded to me from the Usenet:

"Up to now I have had no problems whatsoever with my new Epson Stylus Color 800. The output is nothing short of sensational, in B&W, and especially in color. The output is virtually photographic in quality, and has to be seen to be believed at 1440 dpi on glossy paper. It blows my CSW 2400 right off the map. Setup was dead-easy. I think Epson has a big winner here, especially at $450, which seems a steal."

Also, the recent review of the Epson printer in MacWEEK was outstanding!
