Michael Go writes: "I have just recently upgraded my Quicken 6 Mac files to Quicken 98. There seems to be some wrong with the Portfolio and Investment portions of the new version." Among other things, "the cash balances reflected in the Portfolio window do not equal the actual cash balances in each individual account."
Joshua Livingston writes: "I experienced - and Intuit confirmed - a problem converting to Quicken 98. The memorized transaction (QuickFill) list and memorized reports can be corrupted when upgrading. Intuit's suggestion (which failed for me) is to reindex (Command-Option-B) the old file, save a copy, and upgrade the copy. If this doesn't work, the only fix involves losing the list entirely. I was told they are working on a maintenance release."
