Good news! The problem with AppleOnboardAudio.kext and the G5 has been fixed. It did not indicate so anywhere, and I was afraid I was going to have to go in and replace that file again after the update. But, the stalling problem is gone. Everything else seems fine... so far.

On a Rev. A 12" PB, 640 RAM: Fan "problem" is still around. Tried reinstalling
Silent Night to no avail. Fan runs continually and hence battery life has been
significantly reduced. This "feature" is most unwelcome and I sincerely hope
that Silent Night is updated quickly.

Start up is quicker till desktop appears, then start up is considerably slower.
Applications load slower as well. All applications load an average 2 times
    slower.

I'll be reinstalling Panther 10.3.0 and upgrading to 10.3.1 until these
    problems are fixed.

    Good news. Nothing seems broken.
Bad news, had to run fsck 3 times and repair permissions with LOTS of
repairs being made after this update.
Couldn't find the stand alone updater when I went to the site. Used Software
    update instead.
Still, all core and iLife apps seem to be
functional, with the exception of iDVD, which still seems to be a black hole
into which I cast perfectly good blank DVDs.

If you use MySQL, be darn sure to read the Knowledge Base article about the
OSXS 10.3.3 update BEFORE you install the update. Specifically, here's what it
    says:

    Additional Information for MySQL

Data stored in MySQL databases with the version of MySQL that is pre-
installed Mac OS X Server 10.3.2 or earlier must be exported and re-imported
in order to be compatible with version of MySQL that is pre-installed on Mac
OS X Server 10.3.3, in which a byte-ordering issue is fixed.

As with any upgrade install, you should back up your old data. In this
particular upgrade, the following process is recommended to convert the data
    to the correct byte ordering:

Before the upgrade, use the terminal to export the data from your pre-10.3.3
    database:

    #  mysqldump -p table > backup-file.sql

    or

    #  mysqldump  --opt database > backup-file.sql

After the upgrade, and after initializing the MySQL database, import the data:

    #  mysql -p table < backup-file.sql

    or

    #  mysql  database < backup-file.sql

Installed on both G5 2GHz DP and Powerbook G4/450. Fine in both places
except for MAJOR problem: MS Entourage crashes immediately after load on
    both machines! Aaaaghh!

No problem with entourage here under 10.3.3 - running 10.1.4

Try rebuilding the database (start with option key pressed)

Repaired permissions before and after updates - no problems with LCD iMac and Dual 2.0 G5. Finder seems to be snappier. Some Mail bugs fixed. UT 2003 seems a little smoother, nothing major.

Installed on a Dual 1GHz G4, but made the mistake of turning on a Firewire
drive while going through the prebinding process and got a nice kernel panic.
Could not go past the "initializing login window" after restarting. I had to go
to open firmware mode to open the CD tray and get the basic OS packages
reinstalled. Anyway, it wasn't too much work overall...

My apple address book entries were erased completely after installation of
    10.3.3. Luckily I have backups.

Just another comment: I found that all the address book files were intact but
somthing in them must have been corrupted because the program itself
showed an empty address book. Copied all the address book files from my
previous backup and now all the addresses show up.

Do a backup before you install 10.3.3.

All my addresses were fine on my Dual USB iBook after the upgrade. What
    machine are you running on?

I ran Repair Permissions before the upgrade (and some advocate running it
before AND after an upgrade), did you?

I also had my address book wiped. I did do a repair permissions before and
    after upgrading.

Very strange problem in Safari, after 10.3.3 update, permissions repair
and running Onyx 1.4.2. On Apple Quicktime movie trailers page-the
page fragments/splits as it is scrolled vertically. Like nothing I've seen
before...this is on a Lombard 400 "new release test machine".

Cleared up after another reboot; got a kernel panic playing Quicktime
movie trailer, and was forced to restart. First time on this machine-
updated from 10.3.2, using stand-alone downloaded 10.3.3 updater.
    Bizarro!

This is not a combo updater. This doesn't update 10.3 to 10.3.3. The stand-alone installer will not run, nor will Software Update "see" this update until the 10.3.2 update is applied (not sure if the 10.3.1 update will do the trick, as I don't have it around any more).

Worse, Software Update will not "see" any available Mac OS X Update (not 10.3.1, not 10.3.2, not 10.3.3). So if you are starting with 10.3, unless you know how to find and install 10.3.2, you won't be able to update to 10.3.3.

I updated from 10.3.1 (never installed 10.3.2) and software update did indeed imply that it was a combo updater from 10.3.1.

No problems at all like anything mentioned here. G4 iMac and last version G3 iBook.

Everything fine here. The permission repair routine only found two offenders:
streamingserver.xml and cd9660.util. These two always go bad (the
streamingserver basically always, the util after some time). So, no issues here
    at all.

Same here, on my 15" AlBook, though I did have a
couple others. No problems, and It actually fixed a
couple of the problems I was having since I did an
archive-and-install from 10.3.2 to 10.2 and back up to
    10.3

There is a minor bug still with displaying network volumes/shares in the
    Finder Sidebar.

If you mount a share that has the same name as any of your local volumes,
another icon of your local drive will appear in the sidebar. The network
volume/share will appear fine on the desktop.

Possibly a similar bug, where if you drag the network volume on the desktop
to the dock, if it has the same name as a local volume, the icon in the dock
will refer to the local volume, not the network volume that you dragged
    there....
