We're moving! We're currently migrating all MacFixIt articles to our new home in CNET. We'll be redirecting all traffic to the new site this afternoon, but if you want to get a sneak peak you can visit the site now at http://reviews.cnet.com/macfixit.

All of our latest articles are available now on the new site. We're still in the process of moving some of our older content over to the new site, but it will all be available tomorrow. You may also notice that the posts don't show any comments from the old site yet. Those won't make it over for a week or so, but they will be available soon. While you're there, you may want to update your RSS reader with the new feed address.

We hope you enjoy the new site!

CNET needs to tell those of us using VersionTracker 4.5.1 when it will be useable again = The New Software function shows nothing. C'mon guys, you knew Snow Leopard was coming. Again it seems the Mac people who are the last of managements concern. I strongly protest that this is a paid service, and you've already curtailed it once this year !! Please respond - somebody!!

My understanding is that this isn't a paid site anymore. In fact, I received a refund on my old macfixt pro subscription.

Is there a way to downgrade from iTunes 9 to 8.0.2.? My 5th generation iPod has to be reformatted to use 9. Don't want it, can't use it. iTunes 8.0.2 is much simpler to use.

No installation of Updates functions on my MacBook Pro in Snow Leopard. Can't upgrade to 6.1. Does someone have an idée. It does nothing after the "accept" buttons are ok'd. Thank you

    1. Daily Newsletter has not changed the MacFixIt Late-Breakers since MFI was available exclusively on CNET.
    2. Titles on this page have no dates. 'Recent postings ... ' should include the date of the post. For those of us reading and saving the more important info, having a date is helpful so we will know whether some article is truly new.
