Before I watch, I'm guessing the iPhone wins. The conditions may be tough but autocorrect helps in situations like that.

You lucky guy, getting to ride in a rally car... How could you spoil an opportunity like that with some useless journalism none the less typing on some plastic junk. Oh and next time try it while driving the rally car, or just a go cart.

I have both of those devices, and I'm not in the least bit surprised. I'm sitting in a chair traveling at zero miles per hour and it's a challenge to type on the Asus.

The iphone also sits in the hand that's typing the whole time, not on your lap, trying to get away. I think most handhelds would likely perform fairly well in that situation; laptops, not so much.

And who among us would actually need to be typing on either an Iphone or a laptop / netbook computer while driving a zillion miles per hour in a rally car? I have an ASUS 1000HD and it types just fine when I'm at a desk. When I have to hold the computer with my left hand and type only with my right, it is much slower but still doable.

I have no complains about the typing experience of my EEE.

How about a regular phone and a regular smarthphone?
That test was like a portability test between a desktop and a notebook; not the smae cathegory.

i knew the iphone would win, but the main reason it did was because you hold the iphone with one hand, so when his arm jerks around he can still press the buttons he wants, unlike the nettop that sits on his legs which will move around independently form his hands, i think a better test would be laptop vs nettop, and iphone vs mid

A stupid comparison,
it's like to compare to eat soup by a cup or by a plate in the car while moving,
