The Lincoln MKS with an EcoBoost V6 engine is put to the ultimate challenge for speed and handling against four European luxury V8s up Loveland Pass, Colo. The challengers are the Maserati Quattroporte, the Jaguar XF, the BMW 550i, and the Mercedes E550.

Unfortunately, no real details of the challenge, such as fuel economy braking and handling, are released. More details about the challenge can be found at 6versus8.com.

Only problem there is the V6 Camaro doesn't have turbocharging, where Ford's EcoBoost engine does. That's good for some significant extra horsepower.

This is very well engineered stacking of the competition by ford. All of those European V8s are naturally aspirated, which puts them at a clear disadvantage at 12,000 feet. The Lincoln has forced induction, giving it a clear advantage at that altitude. Perhaps they should try this down and sea level, and give us those results. Or include a 335i (turbocharged) or an S4 (supercharged), and see how it stacks up then.

I watched some of the videos - pretty neat looking and great filming. I did noticed however that the BMW beat the Lincoln...
