Dear Gadgettes Wonder Team,

I saw this on Boing Boing, which means you’ve probably seen it too. As both a tea-enthusiast and fan of the film Jaws, it appeals to me on a delicious, visceral level:

Keep up the great work!

Jonathan (and Alex sent it, too — thanks!)

Ed note: Check out these shark fin ice trays! –Jason

Duncan:

Hi guys,

Duncan in New Zealand (Dunk0rz in the chatroom) here. While listening to yesterday’s episode and the story about aluminium iron-oxide paint to block Wi-Fi, I suddenly realized that aluminium iron-oxide also happen to be the most common ingredients in THERMITE, a highly explosive powder substance. Don’t believe me? Check out the Wiki!

Is anyone so paranoid about Wi-Fi mooching that they are willing to let there house burn at 4500 F, turning it into a blob of molten metal and ash…

Anyway,

Keep up the good work.

Hey Gadgettes,

I know that knitting isn’t exactly tech but its Wii related. Anyway, may I present, Mii baby gloves. Possibly the cutest thing you will ever see ever.

How frigg’n cute!!!!

Dear Dong Ngo, CNET News,
I read your story from gadgettes and it occured to me Dong that you do not know the difference between a Star Trek transporter and a replicator. Although, it is theoretically possible to reorganize matter at a sub-atomic level as they do using the replicator in the ship's mess, I never understood how the transportation of matter from one location to another would be possible since you can't even get AM radio signals in a tunnel. I feel as old Dr. McCoy about having some dam machine scrambling up my atoms and then scattering them through space and finally reorganizing them at another location. I don't know about you, but I'm going to use the elevator to get on and off the ship and a smaller transport if I have to visit another planet.
