ASK A GADGETTE
Hi gang -
I’m in need of your sage advice and encyclopedic knowledge of tech.
I’ve accepted a job in Portland, Or and this summer will be moving there from Durham, NC with my wife and two dogs. We will driving out in our 2004 Toyota highlander, equipped with a magellan GPS, 2 iphones (3g & 3gs), and an audible platinum account. What road trip gadgets are a must have for my move out west?
If I may be so bold to throw in a 2nd question, I’ll be flying back and forth from portland for the new job several times before the big drive, so any air travel gadgets also greatly appreciated. I already have airline adapters both for my brand new 13″ macbook pro and my 13″
dell e4300 (not sure which i’ll carry for work most yet, but both are road worthy).
Just to answer my own question a little, I’m considering the mophi juice pack – well, i’ve actually committed in my head to buying it, just havent put down the cash yet. Any other great ideas? Help me jason, kelly, & molly (and other possible fill in host I have not named, yet do not want to leave out) – you’re my only hope!

Hi All,
Paul David here from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I’m a recent Gadgettes listener and was listening to ep 141:Food Issues when that thing about groin shaving came up (nearly lost my lunch over that). Anyways that video you guys were talking about has been the subject of much discussion on the Wet Shaving Forums (also accompanied by a lot of glee and mirth
). Just wanted to share with you that groin-area shaving is commonly referred to as ..urm…Manscaping.
Love the Show.

Have been listening since the 1st of the year and love the show. In episode 142 you were talking about programmable door bells. My song of choice would be any of the music from "Deliverance." Best for that 1st-time date for your daughters.
