Mes Gadgettes,

I am neither a doctor nor a woman so I am, of course, ideally suited to comment on the various offerings in the recent “Lady Parts” episode.

Toradol tampons?

Well, Toradol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve moderately severe, acute pain with side effects including ulcers, internal bleeding and fluid retention. Not to be used for more than five days in all, by the way.

Somehow, it doesn’t sound like a good idea to park this drug anywhere near your reproductive system any time of the month.

And don’t get me started on Latisse. Hypotrichosis sounds like another made-up “disease” to be cured with an “off label” drug use.

Remember, Thalidomide? It was prescribed to pregnant women to prevent nausea and how’d that work out?

But the rest of the show was a gas as usual.
