Ask a Gadgette
Dear Gadgettes! I seek some of your infinite knowledge of tools!
Does owning a Gold Dolce & Gabbana MOTORAZR make me a tool? I do enjoy showing it off, especially when with friends and family, but keeping in mind, I didn't purchase this but in fact found it in the trash, What with my friend having a Pink version, I used her spare battery and flashed the device to a working state. Does owning one of these give me the status of "Tool"???
Love the show! (Welcome back molly!)

Hey ladies (and one dude):
Remember The Alien Abduction Lamp you guys talked about a loooong time ago (I’m talking from way back–this was pre-Jason, and I think Molly was still on maternity leave) in "The 'is it art?' Episode"? And how it was only a proof-of-concept and not actually for sale? Well good news because now it’s for sale for realz, bee-yotches!
I signed up for the e-mail notifications from the designer, Lasse Klein, ages ago and finally got the news I’d been waiting over 3 years for: the lamp has landed. And it still comes with the adorable little cow abductee from those concept shots way back when. Woohoo! You might need to be quick, though, because apparently they’re only making 2000 of them.
I already reserved mine.
Love the show!
Jackie

So in this episode, you guys mentioned the Apple Magic Mouse, and how you were musing that the Mighty Mouse (the ones with the little gray trackball on top) tends to get gunked up with debris, and that you weren't able to find a way to clean it via Google.
Well one day, I did exactly that out of frustration, being sure to put in "mighty mouse" as part of my search keywords. Long and behold, it took me to this page:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1537
I followed the directions, especially noting the part where my trackball had a hard time rolling. Also, there's a Quicktime link on the page to a video showing you exactly what to do. After following the steps, my mouse was as good as new. Mind you, I've put it with it for several weeks before I grew intolerant and did the search.
Try it out; hope it helps you as it did me!
