It's not easy shooting green, whining about Wi-Fi (cameras), and AVCHD editing made uneasy.

Senior Editor Lori Grunin has been covering digital imaging for two decades, but her memory's kind of sketchy on the details. You can hear about it every week on Indecent Exposure, the podcast she co-hosts with Matt Fitzgerald.

Lori Grunin has been an avid photographer for almost 30 years, and spent the past 15 attempting to master every aspect of technology.
Matt Fitzgerald has been involved with digital camera technology and the photo industry for more than 15 years. Matthew's background includes work as a professional photographer, a technical representative, and a repair technician.

While skiing at Beaver Creek last year, I was having fun including myself (via my shadow) in my pictures. My wife is not a good enough skier for the higher elevations, so I did this for her.

Love the show, been listening since the start,

What I really wanted to mention though was the using it in iMovie 09 is really great. Takes no time to pull in the footage and then you just edit away without any problems. I'm able to scan around and grab what I need to put something together very fast, and it's done. I guess it's all relative. Perhaps you know how good it could be, but coming from importing DV tape it's a huge step forward for me. Even if it took a long time to import, at least I don't have to baby sit the transfers!
I really enjoy the podcast, and seeing what two word combo the title will be. You'll run out of words for it eventually!

With all the bright light bouncing off the white wall, a lot of my shots in this series came out dark. Looking at some of my exif data from these shots, I was having one of my common errors with exposure compensation. I don't know why I can never get it right in my head to turn up exposure compensation in bright situations. I always have the the incorrect impulse to dial in negative compensation when there is too much light...my subconscious wants to turn something DOWN when it sees that it is too bright. I'll get it right someday. Luckily for me, there are post processing tools.

Cheers, Tim.
Thanks for the kind critique of "What!? No Ham?" . Matt was right. I used Photoshop for the green egg effect. I went to the Image/Adjustments/ Hue/Saturation dialog, selected 'Yellows' and slid the Hue slider until the yolk went green. Simple!
Love the show!

I think I broke about every rule of lighting and composition, but I was going for moody and I think I got it.
Thanks and love the show!

Just discovered this podcast. Wish I would have sooner, it is really cool to have a podcast dedicated to photography. Anyhow, I figured I try my hand at this week's contest. Here is my entry:

Thought I'd have a go at this weeks competition, though viewing some of the other entries I don't think I have a chance!

Bye!
I used this panel of pressed paper made by indians in NM. The design is created by the pieces of bark that make up the paper. Anyway, I had to attach my flashlight to a lamp to get the shadow in focus.
