Convert any YouTube video to play on the iPhone under Mac OS X
The iPhone includes a dedicated YouTube application with access to some of the site's video content. Unfortunately, much of the vast library still has not been converted by YouTube to play properly on the iPhone. That's where TubeTV comes in. Available as freeware, TubeTV can convert any YouTube video from its default Flash format to an .m4v file that can be synced to and played on the iPhone.
This nifty little app has a built in Web browser (and a built-in YouTube search mechanism) that allows you to navigate to the YouTube (or Google Video) movie page of your choice, then click the Save button to automatically export it in an iPhone-compatible format (go to Preferences and select Auto convert downloads for: iPhone). You can also grab a URL from your currently running Web browser to save.
Once you've saved the video -- by default, it goes to the Desktop -- just double-click it, and the video will move to the iTunes library, then to your iPhone on the next sync. Make sure your iPhone is set to synchronize videos by clicking on its icon in iTunes, then selecting the Video tab).
The video conversions are done using QuickTime's H.264 codec, but you'll also need to install the free Perian conversion codec (you'll be prompted to do so when you first launch TubeTV).

In recent months, my friends often ask me for help like these:
Friend A: I have some long video files in WMV style that I'd like to edit out a small "sample" from the video on iMovie. Is there is a way to decrease the moive in order to successfully import into iMovie, sometimes the files are said to be too large?
Friend B: I am wondering if there is a program that does that. I was going to upload a video onto Youtube but it was too long. Is there a program that cuts the WMV files into 2 WMV files? I used Windows Movie Maker to create the video but the thing is I don't want to use it again because it takes so long to save the file as a video file. (It took me 45 minutes just to save the 12 minute video)
Friend C: I edited a MP3 song from WMV video because I wanted to cut out some parts for my ring tone. How do I make this WMV file into an MP3 so I can make it my ring tone?
There are several ways of doing those. But my friends said that the best one is to use Mac WMV video cutter withou re-encode. Flip Mino HD VS Flip Ultra HD
If size is not a big issue for you, Flip Ultra HD would be the best choice with the best price/performance ratio. It has wider angle lens than Flip Mino HD, and based on our tests, it also has better sound quality than Flip Mino HD.
If you prefer the smallest size and good video quality and if 30 more dollars for the same memory is no big deal to you, you can pick Flip Mino HD.
Flip Mino VS Flip Ultra
If you have a very limited budget and if the size and angle of lens is not issue to you, Flip Ultra would be a good choice because it has longer recording time, bigger memory, higher LCD screen resolution and more colors to choose from.
If you have a very limited budget and if you prefer a smaller size and wider angle lens, you can pick Flip Mino.
