Apple sells 1 millionth iPhone

Apple issued a brief press release today noting that it has sold its 1 millionth iPhone, 74 days after its introduction on June 29. Steve Jobs is quoted:

"One million iPhones in 74 daysâ??it took almost two years to achieve this milestone with iPod. We canâ??t wait to get this revolutionary product into the hands of even more customers this holiday season."
