In case you're having trouble updating to iPhone firwmare/software 1.1.3 via iTunes, here is the direct download link:

After downloading the update, you can hold the option key on a Mac or Shift key on a Windows system, then click the "Update" button in iTunes (under the iPhone tab) and select the file to apply it.

Did anyone else lose their iToner ringtones following the update? The songs are still listed and attached to their respective contacts, but no audio plays.

So if I have a jailbroken 1.1.1 iphone (not unlocked, have ATT) do I need to do a restore before upgrading, or will it work fine as is, but I lose my apps. I haven't decided if I am going to upgrade but I would like to be informed as to the proper way to do it if I choose to do so. thanks.

My iToner ringtones are also inactive. They are still listed in the ringtones section of my iPhone, but they no longer work. I haven't tried reinstalling them via iToner yet, but I will try that next.

Just removed my iToner ringtones from my iPhone and reinstalled them. They show up on the ringtone list but don't work.

The free utility MakeiPhoneRingtones still works. If you don't have a lot of ringtones to manage, it's a good workaround until iToner is working again.
