Doubling their storage capacities respectively, Apple has introduced a 16GB iPhone and a 32GB iPod touch. The 16GB iPhone is priced at $499, joining the 8GB model for $399. The 32GB iPod touch is priced at $499, joining the 16GB model for $399 and the 8GB model for $299.

The new units don't appear to include any refinements other than increased memory size. They do, however, come pre-loaded with OS 1.1.3, and iPod touch units include the $20 software upgrade (which adds Mail, Maps, Stocks, Weather and Notes) announced in mid-January.
