Sources in possession of firmware for the 3G iPhone, expected to be introduced on June 9th, tell iPhone Atlas that the package contains an "unbelievable number" of carrier bundles. As such, we expect that Apple will reveal a massive list of wireless partners from around the globe during Monday's keynote address, largely mitigating the currently red-hot market for unlocked iPhones.

A number of wireless carriers -- Telefonica in Spain, Softbank in Japan, Vodafone in several countries, and others -- have made unofficial announcements or indications that they would soon be authorized as iPhone carriers.

AT&T retains an exclusive contract for iPhone usage in the United States.
